Simply replace the restrictive factory over axle pipes to increase power, save weight and add a throatier more aggressive GT3 engine tone. Just like the regular GT4, Fabspeed Over Axle pipes are a perfect first modification and logical upgrade. Our design process started with 3D scanning the entire exhaust system using our CREAFORM 700 Handscan so that we could make a complete Solidworks 3D model of the exhaust. We then designed the exhaust and fixtures using that model so that the exhaust fit perfectly to OEM standards. At Fabspeed USA we then IN-HOUSE CNC mandrel bend on a UNISON limited CNC aero-space all electric tube bender (no outsourcing like EVER SINGLE other USA company) T304 stainless steel tubing that’s 40% larger than factory for maximum flow. The heat shielding has a stainless steel shell, with a ceramic fiber core that can handle a continuous 2400 degrees Fahrenheit and is an extremely effective insulator.
SOUND:
These Over Axle Link Pipes will bring out a stronger throatier tone from your GT4 RS and RS SPYDER. The difference in volume and tone is amazing and simple to install and or remove. The GT4RS and RS Spyder are NOT too loud and no tuning is required . Just remove the rear wheels and the stock pipes and Bolt-ON Fabspeed and GO!
POWER:
With an otherwise stock exhaust and no tune, we gained 30 HP at 4750 RPM and 34 ft/lbs of TQ at 4750 RPM. That's a gain of 33 HP at the crank! Peak horsepower also increased from our baseline of 456 WHP to 474 WHP and from 330 ft/lbs of TQ to 341 ft/lbs of TQ. See our dyno graph above for more details. Simple effective Clean and Green Power from Fabspeed Motosrport USA - using 30 years of air-cooled and water-cooled fLAT 6 experience to deliver high pitched sports car sound and power.
FEATURES:
NOTE: After testing with less heat shielding we saw no difference in suspension damper temperatures. Thus they may come with less heatshielding than pictured, or use hose clamps instead of welded on heat shielding. this will not affect performance.
